Calm days with fewer vehicles on the road, the heatwaves, and the dramatic sunshine. With each passing day, the temperature is soaring without a stoppage.
The scorching heat and long days are excellent for vacations when your body is feeling summer. The refreshing drinks, the beaches, your shorts and the hat. Here you go, for a pleasant summer vacation. But vacations can’t be three months long. It has to come to an end. Summer laziness is creeping in.
Vacations ended, NOW WHAT ??
If you are a parent, you are worried about your child’s performance.
“Why is my productivity declining?”, thinks a student.
“Oh! This irritable behavior, why I am getting that?”, asks a professional.
All are worried this summer. Prime concern of this worry is summer laziness. You must have given it a thought, but sometimes we can’t understand a simple situation. Everything is normal. It is our lack of awareness that makes us vexed with the changes around us. We often tend to ignore some basic knowledge in our day to day life in search of something great.
I am sharing Summer General Knowledge with you all.
Summer makes me lazy
Why? To understand this, just read word by word patiently.
Our body is very smart. “Isn’t it?”, It’s hotter outside and our body wants to be cool. It releases sweat and various other regulations, takes place inside our body to keep itself cool. This gobble up energy. So what happens when energy is drained? We feel lazy. Extremely hot weather makes us lazy.
Summer reduces productivity
Why? When our body loses energy, it feels lazy so certainly, our efficiency decreases, which in turn reduces our productivity.
Summer makes me irritable
Can summer make me irritable? Of course, it does. But how?
See what happens we feel irritated when we lag behind our goals in whatever aspect it may be. As we know summer drain our energy, makes us lazy and reduces productivity it will surely make us feel irritable.
But only these two reasons are enough for my irritability?
“No,” one more reason is lack of proper sleep. We often feel sluggish and drowsy all day during summer. Lack of sleep or improper sleep makes us feel disorganized and it’s so obvious. Being disorganized makes us irritable.
So it’s a chain you see. It is very easy to get rid of summer laziness, just follow these summer health tips and tricks.
Stay hydrated
We lose water in sweat, urine and these are inevitable. We can always keep a bottle full of water with us, sipping it at regular intervals and keep our body hydrated.
Snack light and juicy
Frequent sweating affects the electrolyte level in our body. So it is necessary to eat frequently.
Include fresh fruits like watermelon, muskmelon, lemon, oranges, kiwi, grapes etc. rich in nutrients.
Avoid junk and non-vegetarian food/ Make diet plans
Oil, garlic, ginger, chili are prominent ingredients of junk food recipes which generates an excessive amount of heat in the body resulting in various stomach related issues.
Non-vegetarian food on the other hand like meat, crab, egg, etc. is better to be avoided or should be taken in a minimal amount as they generate excessive heat in the body. Make diet plans and summer will always be fun.
Lemon/Green tea over milk tea
It is advisable to increase the intake of lemon/green tea. They are rich in antioxidants and helps to fight the problems caused by UV rays.
These simple health tips and tricks can help you rejuvenate your system and beat the summer heat.
Students you don’t have to worry, you can practice the following to be cool and efficient this summer.
Read mostly during the morning and evening
Summer mornings are fresh to start and reading for 3 hours from 5 a.m to 8 a.m can help you solve your maximum homework.
Evening 6 p.m to 9 p.m is the best time as this is the time when the sun has set, a gentle breeze is all set to refresh our moods.
6 hours of productive study is way better than 12 hours of unproductive one.
Between 8 a.m to 6 p.m, you can do all you want a hobby, a workshop, nap or whatever you want to.
Stay indoors
Take proper rest during the daytime and try to stay indoors to protect yourself from heat waves.
Proper routine
Follow a proper routine, to have a healthy lifestyle this summer. Wake up early and sleep on time. Good sleep is very much needed, for a healthy brain.
Exercises and Games
Swimming is one of the best exercises during summer. If you are thinking of any exercise, try swimming this summer. It is a splendid full-body workout. Also, there are various water activities that you can try out with your family. There are immense options in the market for a portable swimming pool. You can get one and enjoy it this summer.
Practice meditation
To reduce irritability, lack of concentration, fatigue in your daily life you can always practice meditation. Meditation reduces anxiety and stress level. Helps to sleep better and be calm. The calmness of mind is essential to be cool in our temperament.
Isn’t summer a fun now?
Just be aware of these basic tips and tricks and you will face summer beating its heat with your energy. Now, even if your mind feels summer you can combat it with all coolness in you.
Now, there is no summer laziness.
